‘Lamp Lit Prose’ is the eighth studio album by the New York indie band, this is our introduction to them, and this is one amazing intro!

How to define this album, oozing individuality, it is unique. Each track sounds like it is 2, 3 or 4 songs spliced together, it offers layers upon layers of sound. It is pure uplifting creativity. The lead single track ‘Break-Thru’ mashes together African inspired guitar, mix grooves. ‘I Feel Energy’ featuring Amber Mark, vibes off horns, funky guitar, and break beats, against a Michael Jackson ‘Thriller’ back-drop sound..it wouldn’t be out of place on a Justin Timberlake album.

‘Zombie Conqueror’ featuring Empress Of and ‘I Found It In U’, demonstates a 70’s prog rock influenced sound, with ‘Dirty’ guitars.

Opener ‘Right Now’ featuring Syd, utilises horns, duet vocals, keyboards and…actually just a mass of sounds, I could be here typing all day, give it a listen.
