This isn’t an album review, this is a letter of anticipation for the excitement awaiting the imminent debut album from Jade Bird, due in early 2019.

The UK based 21 year old’s voice and sound is in the mould of the iconic classic rock vocalists of the 70’s & 80’s, comparable to Patti Smith and Suzi Quatro.

The last 12 to 18 months has seen Bird’s star swiftly rising with releases ‘Something American – EP’ which included the stunning track ‘Cathedral’. Singles, ‘Uh Huh’ and ‘Love Has All Been Done Before’. Both of these recent singles pave the way for the rock sound, lyrics, story telling and attitude that music has been waiting a long time for.
